Hartman Landscaping & Lawncare began in 2011 with a simple promise: to bring honest, personalized care to the lawns and landscapes of our community. What started as a husband-and-wife team—Shawn and Angie Hartman working side-by-side with a mower, a truck, and a vision—has since grown into a dedicated crew of more than ten team members who share that same commitment to quality and integrity.

From the beginning, Shawn and Angie recognized a need in the Athens, Springfield, Chatham, Sherman, and Williamsville areas for a landscaping company that treated every property with genuine care, not just another stop on a route. They built their business around craftsmanship, reliability, and the belief that a yard should be cared for as if it were their own. Overall my wife and I would rate Hartman Landscaping and Lawncare as Excellent and definitely recommend them for your landscaping project. Earlier this year, Shawn and Angie met with my wife and I on a project at our home. We have a fairly steep and curved driveway leaving one side with a steep slope which needed to be reinforced. They provided us with recommendations for materials then we met again later to finalize the project. They communicated very well with us throughout the project and accommodated several requests for additional work and expansion of the original scope. Along the way they provided recommendations we had not originally considered and each one made the end result that much better. They provided a clear estimate of what the project would cost and how any changes we made would affect the end cost of things. There were no surprises and their costs were very reasonable. The result was beyond what we could have hoped for. Each day when they would arrive I would go out to meet everyone and we would discuss how things were going. In just a few short weeks they literally transformed our property and we are so very happy with the results. A big thanks to Shawn, Angie and all the folks at Hartman Landscaping!
